This week we have been working on our vocabulary we have been doing sentences.

Today we had three words to pick from they all meant danced the words were swayed shimmied and jived

Here is my sentence ( I used two of the words )

I was on my way to the park and the wind swayed me the wrong way, I got back on the right track and when I got to the park there was a dance party on so I shimmied my way on to the dance stage.

This week on Tuesday we got our class reward we got to go to Alice in Putterland.

We had teams of four in my team I had Me, Olivia, Willa and Aleigha.

This week we have been loooking how to make art pieces, last  night (14 september) we had an art gallery at our school.

When we did the art gallery we had to go through all the classrooms and look at all the art then we had to get a signature so we could get into the draw and get prizes sadly i didnt get one.

This week we have been learning how to read fluently.

We got to pick a peice of writing I picked Alice in Wonderland because its one of my favourite movies.

On the 1st of August we had a visit from NPC Rugby Players. There were 4 RUGBY PLAYERS.

Their names where Billy Harmon, Rameka Poihipi, Sars Flood and Brook Toomalati.

Billy Harmon and Sars Flood both went to our school, New Brighton Catholic School.

I think this experience was really fun. My favourite part was when i got to give them high fives and take a photo with them.

This week we have been watching the movie Prince of Egypt.

It was a really good movie, i recomend it.

This movie is about Moses getting split up from his fimily and at the end he finds them again.
