On Friday, 23 of June we did dancing like the stars.

Every Monday and Tuesday we did some dancing practices.

The style of dance we did was contemporary jazz.

We danced to the song What about us by P!NK.

This was a really fun experience for me because i like dancing and i think that our dance teacher,

Sandy taught me a lot and i think that helped me with dancing a lot.

I was really nervous, but also really excited.

Before the preformance i was the most nervous i have ever been before.

But when we went on stage i was not nervous.

Today we had a duffy role model come to our school. His name was Ray Bishop.

I would like to say thank you to Ray Bishop for being our duffy and sharing his love for reading and singing.

I would also like to say thank you to the goverment and Avonhead Rotary.

 

This is me and my friend willa, we are reading our new duffy books.

I got The Speedy Sloth and an Owl Diary Book.

And Willa got A Mincraft Book and Baby Sitters Club.

 

Someday Im would like to become a Fashion Designer , A Book writer and a Dancer

Yesterday on June the 8th we did the school fun run.

There was a lot of running.

There was 4 activites and a color run

First we did the Run the Gauntlet.

We had to do a few fun activites in this one.

One of them was the parents throw balls at us!

 

Second we did the Obstacle course.

This one was also really fun but there was alot of running.

We had to do a balance beam.

We had to jump over the hay,

and go under a net.

 

Third we did Cross Country Run.

We had to do three laps of the course.

 

Lastly we did the Treasure hunt.

Year 8s hid some tennis balls and we had to find them. There was one golden ball and Pompallier got it.

 

At the end of the day we did the colour run.

We had to run through this little space and get colored powder poured on us.

It tie dyed my jacket.

This week we have been working on Forgivness. We had to make a DLO (Digital Learning Object) My friend Olivia and Willa help me with this task. I had to help Olivia because her mouse broke so she could not make thing bigger and smaller.

This week we have been making cool creative art.

We had to make a name tag with our name on it.

 

We also had to make a pentecost one.

My name tag one took me a day, as you can see my theme for the name tag is watermelon. My friend Olivia also did watermelon theme and Aleigha did a strawberry theme.(Their blog liks are at the bottom)

 

The pentecost one took me around two days because making the dove and the fire took ages.

The reason we did a pentecots one is because pencost was this week.
